Hey guys, so I'm new to the forum but I'm sure you can help me. So I've got a 3 gallon planted tank with some anacharis, cabomba and a plant which I call the mystery plant as I have no idea what it is, kinda looks like anubias but doesn't have a rhizome and the outline of the leaves are slightly red.
Anyways so I've got really bad hair algae growth on this "mystery plant" ONLY. Every other day or every 3 days I have to pull out all the algae because it grows so fast!!
I wanted to get something to eat this algae but seeing as it's so small I think only a couple of shrimp can fit, question is which ones?
I heard amanos are good but they grow really big, any advise?

You could do 4/5 regular Amano not the giant amanos.. Maybe a Nerite snail too!

Oh the amanos sound great but my LPS doesn't sell nerite snails, just pond snails and what I think are trumpet snails
