I'm having an issue with my guppies dying I had x5 and 3 of them died with in the last 2 weeks
I went to my local store to test the water and everything seems fine!

Now I'm left with a couple of guppys and noticed that the male is growing a yellow dot on his side fin

I'm new to this world, really need some help, I'm also thinking in add more fish later on,

Thanks for your time ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1413945835.151238.jpg

First off, you can fill the tank higher so they have more gallons. ammonia and nitrite need to be at 0 if your tank is properly cycled. If you didnt cycle it, then there is your problem. uncycled tanks open up the possibility of many diseases and fish death. You could have fin rot or a type of fungus, but I cant tell from the pics.

How hard and how acidic is your water?
Also, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates?
Did you use a water conditioner?
