souvineers in tank?

i recently returned from puerto rico and collected some dry rock from the beach and have a starfish skeleton that i was wondering if i could put in my FOWLR tanks? i would give them a muriatic acid bath (like i did with my dry rock) before puting them in. would it change anything or harm the fish?

I would think the rock would turn out ok.
Not so sure about starfish skelton????

thanks for the quick response!! i will hold off on the starfish for now, do you think shells would be ok too? my hermit crabs might like to move into them at some point?

Shells should be ok.
Hermits will kill snails just to steal shell!
They may be better behaved with choices?
