well I haven't got them yet but I am going to go pick them up sometime this afternoon.

they sound neat! What size tank are you keeping them in and what other inhabitants?
 
They will be going in the 180gal Oscar tank.
I have read from ALOT of different places that they are compatable with oscars and they need alot of hiding places which I have.
They also will spend alot of time in the sand substrate.

Cant put up pics yet because I haven't picked them up yet.
 
This is not a pic of my eel but one I found on the net that look just like my two.
Can't get a pic of mine cause they are always down in the sand with just a small part of the head sticking out.

the name that was with this pic is Macrognathus aculeatus.
Is this correct? is this indeed a Peacock spiny eel?
