I have a 55g tropical community tank. It all but fully stocked. I just put in three 5" air stones hooked together to a 1500 air pump. Is that too much for the fish? They don't seem to mind too much. In fact some of my tetras were swimming through the bubbles as if playing follow the leader. ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1393901129.181168.jpg

That is true. I kinda like the "white noise" but my wife... Not so much! Ha

The fish seem to be more active than they were before the air. Don't know if that's because they are truly more happy or the fact that they can't hide in the back because of the bubbles. Ether way, as long as I don't lose a bunch of fish I'm keeping it, because I like it!
