Wow-I've been researching these little beasties for a while and my son just gave me a couple. Here's a picture of them right after their two hour drip acclimation.

Thanks! The urchins are really chuggin' around. I'm surprised that they haven't disturbed anything yet (I have two corals that aren't really secure).

Thank you roka for all of your feedback on these creatures!

Sure thing, I hope you enjoy them. They are very beautiful creatures.

Why did you have to show them Msbeanctr. Now I want one.LOL. They look wonderful. Hope you had a wonderful Mother`s day.

Hey! I noticed that you were thinking of getting them too! (I was researching them on this site and ran across one of your posts) C'mon you know you want one. I'll have to admit that they are pretty neat little guys.

If you have any hair algae, I would be interested in knowing if they mow through it like my pincushion does.

No, I don't have any hair algae (knock on wood). But those little buggers are crawling all over the glass and eatting the coralline algae-which is not a problem for me.

Wait till you see what they will pick up and carry. Make sure and small corals are fastened safely. Mine pulled around my digital thermometer probe. They will climb the tank too.
