What are these little guys?

They are approx. the length of a quarter. At my LFS they are sold as “Red mini Lobsters”. What are they really? Do they tend to be aggressive? One of my guppies have a damaged tail, I’m taking care of it but trying to find the culprit. Could they be it? We have 2 of them, a mystery snail, & 5 guppies in a 10 gallon. The guppies all seem to get along, haven’t seen any aggression between them. I haven’t seen too much aggression from the “lobsters” aside from one of them tries attacking the snail every time the snail comes down to the gravel. Id like to hear your opinions! As identified above, that is a Cray Fish, aka Crawdad. They hunt at night and will attack fish as they rest.
 
I used to catch these by the buckets full at a local reservoir when night fishing. Boiled them up and seasoned them. Good eating.
