What everyone got at the Calgary Aquarium Society Auction

Well, i figured people would start posting some of the items they got here so here it goes:

I ended up getting the following and at the end of the day paid out $45 or so:
15 gallon tank with a glass lid (just needs a bit of cleaning)
1 gallon show tank with lid, gravel and background
15 lbs of black gravel
1 ancistrus species (by all accounts it was a BN pleco from what i can find)
1 [acronym:5033753f5e="Activated Carbon"]AC[/acronym:5033753f5e] 200 almost new

We got one of the many "unknown" plecos...which, after surfing through the Cat-e-log, I'm fairly sure is a clown. We paid $30, which was too much, but my boyfriend laid eyes on him and it was the end of the story...I don't think he cared how much he paid, he just *wanted* him.

We also did a tour of all of the fish stores and got a new 29 gallon to go on my very empty tank stand and 17 Cardinals for $3.20!!! (Long story, and too late to remedy the mistake now that we're already back in Edmonton)

I'll try to get pics later this week...

Those are most definitely not clowns...which is why they were hot....I am not sure what L-number they are, but they are quite uncommon.

I ended up with:

6 albino bristlenose fry (about 2/3")
1 5 gallon bucket full of hydro sponge filters
2 corner sponge filters
1 5 gallon tank with mesh-wrapped egg-crating on the bottom (to catch eggs from species that will eat them)
1 bag riccia
1 bag 'Indian fern'
1 Won Bros. glass 100W heater (at $5, who can argue?)
Two pairs of C. afra
One pair of P. acei 'white fin'

....and $106 from all the stuff I sold. Total cost for eveerything I bought was under $25.

I also pushed my irritated throat so hard with all the auctioneering, that I have absolutely zero voice today.

Oooh...well this makes it much more exciting then! I'll get a few pics as soon as I can, and then we'll start a pleco identification thread

And you did a great job, by the way, Toirtis...I didn't think that things would go nearly as quickly as they did!
