Hi Frank, I wouldn't say that there are any secrets to keeping freshwater angels really, just make sure they have plenty swimming space, clean water and no agressive fishies that are going to bother them

They're one of the few fish for which tall tanks actually make sense. Feed them some brine shrimp too.

brine shrimp, bloodworms, and something spirulina mixed and they will get big quick.

I agree, give them plenty of room to swim about and keep the water crystal clear. I have had mine for several months and it is one of my favorites. I wish I had a larger tank so that I could add some more but I'll be patient.

I just got one similar except I got a golden crest because they are supposed to be a bit heartier. It still seems more sensitive than my other angels, but very pretty indeed. Best of luck.
