Got my new breeding project today, a nice little group of Pseudomugil paskai. I've been waiting too long for some of these:cool:

Alright Brookster here's the dwarf characidiums I'll be ordering along with a pic of what the pseudomugil paskai will look like soon. I think they will look great with my R. wallichii in the background :p

That's one heck of a transformation. Pretty much colorless to like 'how can he even handle that color'.
Good luck with em! I definitely want to see a full tank shot at some point! :D

Really nice fish. What's the plan with the breeding project?

First the plan is to get them into better shape, as they are young and were wild imports so they're a bit thin. That's my main plan as I pound out the research needed to initiate the breeding project itself and add another notch to my belt while making an relatively rare/expensive fish a bit easier for some to obtain.

Ahh that's good. Glad you are finding a way to help make cool fish more available. I might take you up on it once the project gets going!

That's a nice piece of wood you got there! I need to go hunting for some dw at the lfs this weekend...

If anyone comes across any sites that give care guidelines for the odontocharacidiums please post a link, I'll be treating them as any other characidium species for the time being and I'm just starting to translate various sites looking for usable info.
