Thats one thing i knew getting into this. My last design was nice, i liked the idea but didnt like the look. Im trying something totally different this go around. Pictures will be up once i finish part of the design.

Got one section designed out, but its hard to take a picture with the left over rocks in the back. Looks like just a pile of rocks haha

Sadly thats about half or a little under half my rock. I need to figure out what to do with the rest. Im still waiting on my fiji rock too.

You can put more rock in your sump if you need to. Also, dry base rock is a lot lighter than wet rock. When folks recommend 1-1.5lbs per gallon, it's the wet stuff. I learned the hard way and bought too much dry rock my first time. It crowded my tank. I eventually removed a lot of the rock and I'm liking the look more now.

I have a lot of room, and plenty to work with. Just dont have the creative artistic vision to make the "perfect" look for my tank. I could put rock in my sump or take some smaller rock for my 20 gallon, maybe even just set some aside for later use. It can all change over time.

Just go with whatever you think looks good. You can always adjust later. It takes awhile to find the "right" look.
