I have a 120 gallon I have decided to setup. I am new to the saltwater aquarium trade. I have a little liverock in the tank with livesand. I have the skimmer running.
The sump receives the water through pre drilled bulkheads.
How do I silence some of the noise coming from the sump inlet water noise? The water comes down to the sump and free falls to the bottom of the sump water line. I do not have any bio balls or filter pad in this part of the sump.
Also, this tank has been running for three days now. The live rock I have in it is supposedly already cured. Do I leave the tank alone for a couple of weeks before testing water or do I start testing it now?

you can test whenever youd like, id suggest watching params now for any ammonia spike to make sure youve gone through a cycle.

as for the sump setup ill let someone that actually has one of those to help lol
