Sg: barely above 1.024

Yesterday it was 1.023 and I didn't add anything to my tank.

As water evaporates, salt doesn't so that will raise your tanks specific gravity. The tank being cloudy sounds normal as long as it goes away soon, if it doesn't id do a water change.
