I was just wondering what's the best way to place anemone in your tank? Do you place it in a hole on the rock?

IME palace your anemone mid level center. It may seek out a spot on it's own. You should be aware it can be sucked into a overflow or power head. My first found it's favorite spot on the back of my largest rock where it was completely hidden.
