My aquariums already been through the cycle so if adding dry base rock, would it have any negative effects on the water?

It should not have any negative effects, so long as it doesn't have any residual bio matter on it that could decay further once you put it in the water.

What do you guys think is the best dry base rock to put in? I can get key largo base rock for 2.29 a pound from a website, I live in Canada so most aquarium websites dont deliver here :(

Is the rock heavier than the usual? Because I'd like to have large but lightweight rocks

I wouldn't say that. It is very porous rock, never heard anyone complain about it. Lots of folks have used rock from them.

Okay well thank you ! I'll be looking into it for sure! If you have any other suggestions for rock and what not, feel free to let me know please :D

Did you check bulk reef supply? They have some with good reviews, not sure about shipping.
