Advice on snowflake

I am buying a snowflake eel next week and was wondering any specific size I should buy him at and if it is recommended to quarantine him.

It is best to buy a snowflake eel that is 10 inches long. If you choose smaller than that, there is a great chance for it not to live long, especially because of the shipment conditions.

I recommend QT any fish you get, especially with saltwater. What size aquarium do you have?

QT should always be completely separate from your main tank unless you just plan to Hold the animal. QT = medicate.
