i just bought a coral beauty yesterday and i know they like to eat alage and my tank is pretty established but i never got a strong enough light to really grow enough alage so i bought alage sheets today with a clip. this may be a stupid question but because shes new she hasnt eaten yet and i want to know if i can leave the alage on the clip in my tank or will this somehow spike ammonia or do something bad to the tank?
