Algae in Sump?

I currently have chaeto algae in my sump with a normal 60 watt lightbulb in a lamp over it, im getting hair algae on the glass of the sump, should i leave it alone since its absorbing the nutrients? Or scrape it off

Remove it, I left it in there before and it starts to spread. also when you remove the algae your removing the nutirents that it had previously absorbed so those are then out of the tank
