Algae Wafer Cache

Yesterday evening I gave my Emer. Crab an algae wafer (cause it was fri night and who doesn't want to tear it up a little?). He took it, appeared to be munching on it, and then drug it under a piece of LR. Do I need to go after this wafer? It' was almost the size of him. Appears to be a big chunk of it left over.

one more thing,
90 G fowler- how many peppermint shrimp should I get? Aside from the crab and a hand full of small hitchhiker snails I have no CUC.

Peppermint shrimp do best in groups of 3 or more. I know my emerald crab is a piggy I don't feed mine anything extra but he has plenty of macro algae to munch on.

I didn't know that.

I have 3 but only because my LFS had them at $12 each or 3 for $27. I knew my aquarium could support 3 shrimp so I went ahead and purchased 3. They have been doing well and over the last week or so have become much less shy and now I see them out in the open areas of the aqua-scaping fairly regularly.
