Hi all, About a month ago I added two Flame Anthias to my 90 gal FOWLR tank. They are in hiding most of the time and sometimes I will not see them for a week straight. When they do come out they seem fine and none of the other tank mates ever bother them. I have never seen them eat and if they are out in the open when I feed they always go straight into hiding. Since they are still alive after one month I assume they are eating. Can a fish live one month without eating?
I feed them the recommended diet of "The diet is consistent with other members of the Anthias group - zooplankton and floating filamentous algae. In the aquarium, it should be fed a varied diet of mysis shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, frozen preparations and other meaty items for zooplankton feeders, small quantities of food several times per day."
What do you guys think? Are they okay?
