Auriga butterflyfish turning black?

Any ideas why this happens? Someone told me it is ready for mating. ????

It could be any reason. I`ve seen other fish change color for hiding purposes, for being mad or angry, For scaring off other fish or changing from a juvenile to an adult. Hard to pinpoint the reason. I would say as long as he is eating looks fine he should be OK.

Ok it was sick. Not sure what it was but this morning it was away to fish heaven. :'(
