GuOD, I am not sure about that one as I have had no experience with the dry rock. Even with it increasing in weight, though, you are still at about 1.5 lbs / gallon, which is definately a good amount of LR. I would say you should be fine

Thanks! I am anxiously waiting for Marcorocks to get back to me!

I was wondering - I might want to add a few pieces of coral or maybe just some anemones. Would a 48" 260w fluorescent light be able to handle that? (130w bulb + 130w atinic) My tank is 4x2x2. The Orbit 48" 260W 2x130W Fluorescent model.

Thanks!

I am almost positive that is not enough light, but I am definately no expert on lighting - I'll leave that question for the more wise. Sorry!

I dont know about the more wise but How many gallons is that tank? If it is a 55 or 75 like I am thinking then you`ll be ok on leathers and soft coral and polyps and mushrooms. Not sure about the anenome since they need high lighting. Sounds like your tank plans are moving right along.

I'm getting excited and trying to play it out perfectly

I'm thinking anemone won't be able to survive in my tank. it's 260w for 125g (4x2x2 is 125g) I think I will stick to just fish and live rocks.

No an anenome will not make it in that lighting. Sorry But I started out FOWLR and later went reef. You`ll be OK for now. Save up for more lighting and when your ready then you`ll be ready for a reef tank.
