Best Fish for FOWLR?

i have 8 damsels in my tank right now and im thinking of putting just 2 lionfish in there for the predator tank deal. then i started to think whats the best fish for over all viewing. this is strictly IYO (in your opinion) so lets hear it. if i dont do the lionfish what are some sweet @@@ options?

55g I see. Regardless, if a damsel will fit in the lion fish mouth, I'd opt not to add one. Even if small right now, it'll grow.

I think 8 damsels is is at least maxing out that tank, and depending on the species you could be way overstocked. I think adding anything would be a bad decision.

sorry i wasnt clear. the damsels are going bye bye. so the tank will be empty. so im trying to figure out maybe another route to take with fish other then the mentioned 2 lionfish.

In a 55 gallon tank I would find a small clown trigger to occupy it for a year or so. I love triggerfish!
