I use a the blue filter pad myself. But when I had it setup freshwater I used a pad that was fused or was charged with carbon. It was real fine and caught the bulk of waste. Do you think this would work any good on a saltwater setup?

I use the carbon one I think by blue ocean or something like that. I also just tryed the nitrate and the phospate removing filter pads, I really liked the carbon ones I'm serf buying thoes again but I think the phosphate one made my water cloudy and my skimmer way foamey I don't know if it was from something in the pad or what

Did you notice a difference in water clarity and params with the carbon pad?

The carbon 100% helped water clarity everything else with parameters stayed down
