Biozyme

I am cycling a new saltwater tank with Biozyme, I am on day 4 and I still haven't seen an ammonia spike. Any pass users with comments on this product.

All levels have been normal. I have been testing daily and nitrite and nitrate are around 0. I am wondering if everything spiked after the first dose of the biozyme and I missed it.

That product supposedly adds the bacteria that consumes waste. It will only work in the presence of a source of waste (ammonia). Most of us don't believe in these fast cycle products.

Click on the link in my signature for the fishless cycling article. That will help you get started.

A normal cycle takes 4 - 8 weeks.
