Plenty of pics out there. Check Marine Depot. They're kind ugly IMO. Or maybe since the price starts at nearly $400 for small ones, I'm just biased against them. But when they get larger, the black isn't really a nice solid color. Get grey areas that, quite frankly look like age.
Nose is way too long as they get older too. At least for my taste.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me they are beautiful because they are rare. Yes I admit I'm one of those people who likes fish because they are rare. I probably have one of the ugliest fish but I think it is one of the most beautiful fish. Well I have a Black Tang coming today from Hawaii but I'm concerned b/c the weather is rfeally bad. I'll let you know how it works out. Wish me luck! Tim

Good luck. Do you have a pretty stable and mature tank.

Finally after Fedex being 4 hours late my black has showed up. This fish looks amazing, well at least from what I can see right now while being acclimated. My diver/dealer friend from Hawaii packed this beauty in 7 gallons of water!!! Thats a 56+lbs for this fish on its trip. Fish looks great and active. Water temp was 77F. He's being acclimated as we speak. The fish looks well over 7". Can't wait to see him swimming in the tank. The tank is well established and it will be the largest fish by well over 2 1/2". I'll post pics later. Regards, Tim
