i found a bonded pair of bangahii cardinals however i'm not sure what bonded means. i have 2 banghai's already that i thought were a pair till they started fighting which tells me i got 2 males i think. so im assuming that wouldnt be the case for a bonded pair correct?? from reading i done though it says 2 females would tolerate each other so could this be a bonded pair??? or does bonded mean male / female pair or female / female in the saltwater world??? any help with this greatly appreciated.

I would assume its the same as "mated pair" in that they are together and capable of producing offspring. Although I don't really buy into the whole "I want to buy a mates pair because they are better" idea. It's just as easy to get two separate fish and let then bond over time

A bonded pair is a male and female who have not breed yet. A mated pair is a male and female who have breed.

thanks for helping me get it straight appreciate the help
