Bubbles from my Bak Pak 2?

Anybody else ever have this? I started running my Bak Pak 2 last week and bubbles come out of the return line.

As I look at it I wonder why the return line is so close to the waterline? Should I plug it with sponge? I was going to do this but wont the sponge collect Nitrates?

Well I bought an AquaClear sponge today that goes with the HOB filters. I placed it in the return line and the bubbles are gone.

I have the same issue that you have or had.
Micro bubbles everywere
That sounds like a good Idea.
