Bubbles needed?

Hey everybody, I have a 55 gallon fish only salt water tank and I just too the air lines/ bubbles out if the tank to stop the salt from building up at the top of the tank... I just wanted to make sure this was ok, and that not have bubbles or air going thought that time was ok... Thanks for your time

No bubbles in a salt tank. use power heads and aim one somewhat towards the surface to agitate the water.
 
The agitation does not need to be super strong either. Good ripples that won't allow a film to build on the surface should do the trick.
