I have a 180 gallon perfect water put my fish back in it a few weeks ago. Have a few groupers and a snowflake eel. Getting a bamboo cat shark and a trigger maybe two. Would a California stingray live with the other fish? And has anyone had any luck with rays?

No. The triggers will poke at the Stingrays Eyes. Therefore blinding him.

Most likely yes but just keep an eye on him to make sure nothing pokes his eyes because I once had a blue spotted stingray and a Queen trigger and the Trigger poked His eyes to the point where he died.
