Hi everyone;
Merry Christmas and here the present: :P
What will be a good canister filter for an 15gals FO saltwater tank?

fluval 204 or a filstar 1 should work fine

anything more powerful than that will give you tsunami type current in the tank

The reason I'm looking for a canister since they are lots more quiet compare to the HOB. and this tank I'm putting into my bed room.
Thankx again.

okay cool, I just thought someone suggested that was best... I wouldn;t really recommond a canister filter.. heck you could even have a fun cheap project and make a sump for that tank

Yeah,
I'm thinking about that too, it is for a 15gals SW tank and also I need to find Acrylic and other stuff for the sump system, and may be a good drawing plan for such a sump system since it need to be small to fit into the stand that I built for this tank. Been reading up on the sump for few days now, and also have anyone use the specimen container (I think it made by acrylic) to use as a overflow?
Thanks
