Choc Chip Starfish Diet

Hey Guys, Just picked up a Choc Chip Starfish and have him in my quarantine tank. I was wondering what to feed him and how you know how much? Also would you recommend frozen food, pellets, etc.?

How big is your tank?
How old is your tank?
Is it a reef or FOWLR?
Stars need an established tank that has had no problems , no meds ect...
They also require a bit of a larger tank.As they will scavange for food .
And they will eat corals ....
But you can feed chunks of seafood (shrimps, mussels, squid, fish, ) Try to stay away from brine as this is nutritionally defunct ....Cool little guys tho

No reason really other than to observe for disinigration that could foul the tank if not caught ....
Although when you move them over to your display , do not expose to air as this can and is fatal to starfish
