Chocolate Chip Starfish Eaten Alive!

so..this happened about a month ago.

i had a yellow tail damsel and a 3 stripe damsel. and a chocolate chip starfish. they ate him alive...


anybody else have this happen?

i didnt watch and let it heppen, i come home and he had a gaping hole in between to legs.

it seemed like he was eaten alive, but 2 days after i got him i did a water change and i know theyre intolerant to sudden shifts in water parameters...so its up in the air

consider yourself lucky... chocolate chip starfish are ruthless, i had one and he ate my bicolor angel.. he found his way to the toilet.. im just kidding i sold him back though

you might as well take you star fish back and get a small type the big starfish like you have will climb on clams and other small inverts of fish and eat them too. they are just not for small fish of reef tanks.
