City Well Water - RO Unit before or after Water Softner

I moved a few months ago to a city that has a city well that supplies water to the homes. They remove the iron, but the water is hard. I have an RO unit and a water softener. My question is should I run the hard water through my RO unit to make water or should I run the soft water that came out of my water softener through my RO unit?

Running the soft water would extend the life of your filters as it should be lower TDS.
