Cam a clam come out of nowhere?

Over the last few months, I noticed an object on my rock, sometimes it would be open, most of the times it is not. It has the shape of a clam, but is completely covered with the same growth as my live rock.

It could be a turkey Wing clam that came in on your LR, can you get a pic?

take a look, it is in the center of the picture, it is open a bit.

Yup, it does look like a hitch hiker clam, congrats!

Those are quite common. They show up in different areas of my tank quite often.
