cleaner shrimp

I just put my first cleaner shrimp into my tank about 10 minutes ago. Do I need to feed him some how? Also my yellow tang is going up to the shimp like he wants to be cleaned, but the shimp won't touch him. Will this change in time??

He will eat whatever the fish don't get to first. It may take a few days for him to acclimate to the new environment then he will go to work.

Mine eats brine shrimp and flake food. It is fun to watch him "swim" upside down at the top of the water to get the flakes.

He'll also come out a lot more once he gets more comfortable in his new surroundings. He'll be zipping around after food in no time...

I love my cleaner! I really think he is the coolest specimen in my tank. In time he will start trying to clean your hand when you reach in. Definately the most personality for such a small critter.
