I want to take the live rock out of the tank so I could scrub done algea off but im scared when I put it back in my tank will have some sort of reaction because the rock was out if the water. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Scrubbing algae off will not do anything. It will just grow back. You have to fix the problem at hand. Phosphate to high, nitrates, over feeding, using tap water, to long of light schedule. These are all factors that can affect algae.

I do that once in awhile also. When you do a water change fill a bucket with the tank water and scrub the rock in the tank water also swish the rock around in the water and that will take out some of the debris thats trapped in it. Hope this was a help
