Cloudy water

130 litre marine tank, fully cycled, has been running for 5 weeks. 4 damsels. Tank ran very clear for first 3 weeks and then went milky looking, at this time the protein skimmer also stopped foaming. I'm running an eheim2215 with a coarse sponge then coral rubble the carbon pad. I NEED HELP! this is driving me crazy! Also did a 50% water change yesterday, this still didn't help.

Can you tell us a bit more about the tank?

Are you using any live rock?

What is the pH?

Nitrates?

Nitrites?

Ammonia?

If the skimmer stopped foaming, it make me think there's an obstruction to the air inlet somewhere. My Coralife has this happen about every 14 days from salt creep and my Aqua-C goes for a couple months before I have to disassemble and clean out the clog.
