Would you recomend me getting a pair or a single in my 30 gallon reef?
Does it make a difference?

I would say you could do a pair, but if you wanted to do an alone one, that would work , too

If you do get 2 and put them in at the same time get one a little bigger than the other. The larger will turn into female and the smaller into male. Be careful adding any other fish to a pair of clowns especially if they turn into a breeding pair.

So if I put them in a 30 gallon that's all I can have??

Or you could add the clowns last and put what other fish you want in first. That way they don't claim the whole tank as their own :)
