I was just wondering if you could have 4 of the same clownfish coexist in one tank?

Yes, depending on the sizes. If you start out with 4 small, unsexed clowns, 1 will become the female, one, the male and the other 2 will be unsexed. If you get ones that have already have a sexual distinction, you want to have all males so that the most dominant one will become the female and the other males will duke it out to be her mate. (At this point, if the tank is too small, you will wind up with only 2 fish )
Don't be fooled by the size of the fish either. Many male clownfish are much smaller than the females. For example, Maroon clowns and Clarkii clowns to name a couple. The males in these pairs can be tiny in comparison to their females. You'd need to get ones that still have their juvenile coloration to be sure.

Hope this helps (y)
