I've a mating pair of oscell's and a pair of picasso grade A clowns who get along fine in a 60(uk gallons)g tank,and thats with a clutch of eggs laid every 2 weeks.I also know someone who has 4 different pairs of clowns in his 180g tank,But again as stated its all down to the clowns themselves.

my plan is to get a juvenile oscellaris and a juvenile b&w with the oscellaris being bigger

Usually but not always the larger clown fish becomes female and the smaller becomes male. It really comes down to which is more dominate. Clownfish

As far as keeping 2 different types of clowns together personally I wouldn't risk it. Not even on an off chance they might get along.

No they're the same kind, just the coloring is different. And we made sure the orange was smaller than the black

@ joy 13, 1ll i want is 1 black and white ocellaris and 1 orange ocelarris, is that ok, tank is currently cycling, 20 gallon long, stocking will be
2 ocellaris (1 b&w 1 orange)
1yellow watchman goby
1longnose hawk fish
1 royal gramma
MAYBE 1 fish TBD (suggestions???)

Inverts
4 assorted hermits
3 assorted snails
4 assorted shrimp
1 reef lobster

Corals
1 frogspawn
1 waving hand
1 kenya tree
2 mushrooms
2-3 leathers
3-4 zoas
