Hello,

We have a 36gal FOWLR tank (thought it was 40g until I calc'd volume), with four fish - a fat 5" spotted green puffer, 3" maroon clown, 3" coral beauty angel, and 1" purple damsel. They all get along well. Our daughter is pushing us to get one more fish. (I know, I know, we're already over the density limit.) So I've been looking for one that would be compatible with puffer (he ate a goby and a blenny), be interesting, and not eat too much, to keep the bioload down. The only candidates I've come up with are:
- Auriga Butterflyfish
- Court Jester Goby
- Clown Goby
- Trimma Goby
I suspect all the gobies are at risk from puffer.

Any of these good candidates? Any other suggestions?

Grateful for any advice.

What about these?

How about the Auriga Butterflyfish?

or a yellow tang? It was the only tang I could find that doesn't have a huge minimum tank requirement.

And the puffer will get more intolerant of tankmates as it gets older. He alone requires a 30gal tank minimum. Get another tank for the other four fish.
