Cure live rock rubble?

Well I found some pretty good priced LR rubble for sale, which is pre cured, which I'm going to add to my sump. I'm only going to get about 20 pounds. The tank it's going in is a 56 gallon, with about 50-60 lbs of LR already in it, and has a 20 gallon sump I've been putting together. My question is, do I need to cure the rubble again before adding it to my system? And will 20 lbs of live rubble going into my sump throw my system out of wack? This is about the only place I've found rubble that isn't a ridiculous price, and it's perfect for my sump idea, I just don't want to screw up the whole cycle. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

If it's already cured, you should be good to go. Even if it wasn't, it should be ok to add it to your system. I'd just rinse it with some SW, make sure it's pretty clean, and then add it to your sump.

Y dont you just use lava rock and let the bacteria take the over time? I've done this in my tank and after a year you can't tell.
