What are the quickest easiest and most effective ways to get rid of Cyano?

Export nutrients, get your flow straightened out to decrease deadspots and get your parameters in order. That's about as quick, easy and effective as it can get. I know some people will say to use chemicles but I'm all about fixing the problem and not patching it up. Happy water=happy tank.

So some extra water changes and make sure you syphon the cyano out as it will cause a spike.
