Cycle ending???

I have a 38g tank that I set up two weeks ago, I did test high in ammonia, nitrie and nitrate, I think my cycle is coming to an end, today my test results were ammonia 0 nitrite 0 and nitrate 40
Is my tank read for the clean up crew and a fish??

You mean you have only cycled your 38g tank in only 2 weeks? I have a 55g and I have only seen a trickle of a change in my cycling. How have you done it?

Yes..? Well I have live rock and live sand as well as some dry rock. I purchased pre mixed saltwater from the LFS and allowed a raw piece of deli shrimp to decay for awhile. I think I may have missed the peaks in ammonia because I have only seen it get to 1ppm as well as the nitrites, but like I said today those both tested as 0 and the nitrates keep climbing. I am new to aquariums so, do u think I should wait another week? Did this seem like it cycled very fast?.

I would hold of another week and test again. But then again the live rock could have housed a lot of bb
