Dirty substrate problems

Ok, I have been doing 15G changes the first of the month, perhaps 10 G changes every 2 weeks? I have also killed all buy my moonlight LEDS for the time being until I get this under control. I have been running my lights as follows: actinic from 9AM to 9PM and daylight lights from 10AM to 8PM, LEDS during the night. Does that lighting schedule seem like too much? Should I slowly give the aquarium doses of lighting after I get this cleaned up?

Which is which..you talking about your 30g or your 72g?

I have a 72G tank, BTW I have 2 Koralia 4 PH's that circulate a total of 2400GPH do you think that it enough for a tank that size or do I need another one?

What is the size of your tank. wxlxh?

Tank is a 72G Bowfront with overflow and sump.

K-4's may be to strong for that..I would think a couple of K-2's would do.
