Do Hermit Crabs Change Colors?

I bought a large hermit at my LFS a couple of months ago. He had red & white legs, blue eyes and orange antennae. Yesterday, his red and whites legs were blue and black. Does that change occur as they get older like some fish? I don't know what kind he is either unless now that he has blue/black legs, looks like an Electric Blue, but haven't seen any that large before. I will post before and after pics.



When purchased.





Yesterday - also changes shells awhile back.
