dogface puffer

i have had a dogface puffer before and loved it. he was extremely outgoing. i recently had to give him away because he reached 13 inches in my 90 gallon tank. i got a new one and he seems to be more skiddish. he is constanly laying on the ground and up in a corner. when hes not doing that hes bitting at himself in the glass. i'm not sure really what to do.

help is appreciated

Every puffer has a different personality. I am sure he will begin to come out of his shell. I had one before and they are good at remembering faces.

I have a Stars and Stripes dogface puffer, and he was skiddish and shy at first too, and yes they definitely remember faces.
