Hey all,

I've had my dogface puffer for about 8 months. Eats like a puffer pretty much everything I put in there.

I had a problem with hair algae but I cleared that up when my chaeto started growing and a few water changes. Ever since then the puffer has been attacking its own reflection (since he can now see it.) He turns almost completely white and looks blotchy while doing this.

I feel like this might be stress and wondering if this should calm down? It's been about a week.

Sometimes he flattens out and turns white too it just doesn't look healthy haha.

Water parameters are 0-0-0 78 degrees 8.2 PH.

It's a completely black background so he can see the reflection everywhere on the back glass.

I can get pictures if that will help.

I have a dogface a jewel and a porcupine puffer and they act similarly as soon as I enter the room perhaps they are watching you and waiting for lunch to be served they are always hungry lol

My dog faced puffer's natural calm state colour is pale with black spots, he only darkens when stressed
