Just got him and was wondering where the Embreo is located

Well here's a pic of my egg about a month ago
You can scrape the side of the egg gently to reveal the baby shark.

I looked at his little feeding sack was gone. Is he ok to hatch?

If its completely gone then it will probably hatch soon. Don't try to open the egg. It will come out on its own. Btw, how big of a tank is it in?

Right now a 30 gallon but I have a 180 gallon that will be up and running working a few weeks

Ok thanks. Do you know how to encourage him to eat. I heard sometimes they'll practically starve before they eat

Try live saltwater feeder shrimp first then try getting squid, silversides, and shrimp. That's what I've read at least. I still haven't gone through that ordeal yet haha
